The past few weeks have been very rough for Ric Flair, as well as Flair’s family, friends and fans. The Nature Boy was admitted to a hospital in Atlanta a few weeks ago for “routine monitoring” but it was later determined that the 16 time World Champion was suffering from some serious health issues.
Flair was put into a medically induced coma, and he underwent surgery, but after the surgery it was noted that he was still in critical condition. His fiancé issued a statement saying that Ric Flair was admitted to the hospital due to severe abdominal pain, and fans tried to stay positive.
Some good news arrived when Ric Flair’s manager informed the world that Ric was awake and talking, and apparently he was well enough to cut a promo on his nurse.
It now appears that Flair is well enough to use social media again, because earlier today he made his first public comments since entering the hospital via Twitter.
Sometimes you have to get knocked down lower than you have ever been, to stand up taller than you ever were. Naitch WILL be back! 🙏 pic.twitter.com/v9YbIEykt9

As you can see from the message above, it appears that The Nature Boy is feeling positive.
PWInsider reports that Flair is now ambulatory and walking with assistance. He’s expected to undergo surgery to put a permanent pacemaker in, and he will also undergo several weeks of physical therapy.
It’s also being reported that the Table For 3 episode featuring Ric Flair, Sting and Ricky Steamboat that was pulled following Ric’s health scare will debut on the WWE Network in mid-September.
