ric flair

WrestleMania 33 in Orlando on April 2nd is going to be an action packed, star studded affair and apparently Ric Flair doesn’t have a date for the big dance. The Nature Boy recently posted on social media and he revealed that he is looking for someone to go to WrestleMania with him.

We here at Still Real To Us would love to throw our hat in the ring, Mr Flair. If you’re really having trouble finding someone to go to the show of shows with, then we would gladly accompany a sixteen-time world champion to the event. Assuming you don’t take Conrad Thompson, and if that’s the case we’ll hang out with you and @HeyHeyItsConrad.

No qualms here. Slide into our DM’s, Nature Boy. But, we’re not taking a ride on Space Mountain for the tickets. Just sayin’.

Jack Swagger appears to be on his way out of WWE’s good graces (if we can remember a time when he was every really in their good graces), although WWE doesn’t seem to want to let him go. Honestly it’s probably more along the lines of a “we don’t want him, but we don’t want anyone else to have him either,” kind of thing. Swagger’s been through a lot when it comes to humiliation on television and eating crow in the ring hasn’t done much to help his career.

This is indeed a sad fact, as the amateur wrestling stand-out is capable of so much more, but they never really got him on the right track in any of those regards. Add in the fact they gave a guy with a noticeable lisp the name, “Swagger” and you have to wonder if even his character’s name was a rib itself.

WWE Hall of Famer Hacksaw Jim Duggan shared one of those humbling experiences with Swagger, but he remembers the moment fondly. We’re not sure if Hacksaw had any malicious intentions by tweeting this, he probably didn’t because Duggan is a really cool guy and most likely only meant this social media message to be a fond remembrance of a past experience.

Still, it’s pretty ironic timing considering the fact Swagger recently asked for his release.

Karl Anderson bid farewell to his family before his title defense in Milwaukee, Wisconsin but before he did, The Machine Gun (why don’t they call him that anymore?) found the time to post a picture of his sons as he said goodbye. If you’re a fan of his Hot Asian Wife, she’s not in the picture but what is evident in the photograph is the fact Anderson has a great support system on the home front.

It’s also cool to know Anderson’s kids consider Luke Gallows as an uncle. Those two are extremely close and have gone through a ton together. This is a very cool post indeed. One thing we’d like to know is where did his his son get that awesome Gallows and Anderson t-shirt? Because we would so rock that.
