royal rumble

The annual Royal Rumble match is now less than two weeks away and it seems that this is usually when the speculation begins to heat up when it comes to surprise entrants and ultimately who could be the winner and go on to main event WrestleMania.

The odds on favorites for the past few weeks have been John Cena and Roman Reigns, with Shinsuke Nakamura being one of the big shifts in odds over the past few days. It seems that there has been another huge shift in betting odds recently as well, that have seen SmackDown General Manager Daniel Bryan become one of the favorites to win as well.

Bryan was an outsider with 66/1 odds last week, he is now one of the favorites at 10/1. It is unknown why these odds have been slashed, but it seems that it could be a huge hint about his in-ring status ahead of the biggest event of the year.

Bryan was forced to retire back in 2016 due to injury and recently Triple H stated that the company wouldn’t be willing to risk putting him back in the ring if he wasn’t medically cleared. It seems that the betting companies may know something that the WWE Universe doesn’t since he is now a favorite to win the match even though he hasn’t yet confirmed that he will be part of it.
