WWE announced coronavirus related budget cuts back in April and then proceeded to release a number of talents from the roster.
Maria Kanellis was among the stars released, and she recently pointed out on Twitter that she was released two months after having another child when she posted the following:
“Did you ever hear the one about the woman that was released from WWE during a pandemic 2 months postpartum after being told having another baby wasn’t an issue…? #milkmoney #moreonthatlater #onlywrestlingcompanythatreleasedpeople #NonEssentialFamily”
Maria also went on to point out that no other wrestling company released talents due to the pandemic.
There record numbers say differently. P.S. no other wrestling company released anyone!! https://t.co/CTF0aGCY89

Maria Kanellis returned to WWE in 2017 along with her husband Mike Bennett. It was reported last summer that the couple had signed multi-year deals with WWE.
