Last year Triple H took over WWE creative and shortly after numerous wrestlers who had previously been released were brought back to the company. Fans have seen some familiar faces in recent months, but it looks like there’s at least one that returned who is still sitting on the sidelines.

Fightful Select reports that former Impact Wrestling World Champion Eric Young is current under contract with WWE and has been for months. It’s being reported that Young was recruited just a few months after the Triple H regime took over and by October, Impact Wrestling was well aware that he was wrapping up with the company.

Eric Young has been under contract with WWE since November 1 of 2022, but even though he has been back with the company for months he still hasn’t appeared on screen, and there’s been no word on him being backstage at WWE events.

After finishing up a 12 year run with Impact Wrestling, Eric Young started making appearances on WWE programming in 2016. He became the leader of the Sanity stable and the group was called up to SmackDown in 2018, but rarely used. In April of 2020 it was revealed that Eric Young had been released from WWE, but now it appears that he’s back.
