Vince McMahon is set to return to SmackDown Live this week. The expectation is that he will be confronting Kevin Owens and announcing a huge match between him and Shane McMahon for the Hell in a Cell PPV. Unless creative plans have changed, it will be a Hell in a Cell match.

The last time Shane worked a match was at WrestleMania 33 against AJ Styles. Despite a lot of complaining heading into the event, the match received favorable reviews from the fans. Since his return, Shane O’Mac continues to work big matches and his father is the reason why.
It’s being reported by Sportskeeda that Vince McMahon believes Shane is a major attraction to the company as a performer. The reason why he continues to wrestle big money matches is because he proved himself to be a huge draw at WrestleMania 32 against The Undertaker.
Apparently, ticket sales and revenue weren’t great until Shane’s return to WWE, which led to about 30 million dollars of profit for the company. Apparently, Shane is required to wrestle at least twice a year, so WWE officials and Vince McMahon have been using his dates carefully. A lot of people may not like Shane McMahon wrestling, but the numbers don’t lie.
