Seth Rollins has been one of the top stars in WWE for well over a decade now and normally he has a consistent presence on television. The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion has been absent from TV for some time now as he last appeared on WWE programming when he was defeated by Roman Reigns in the night two main event at SummerSlam in August.
WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select is reporting that Seth Rollins is currently being kept off TV as creative is waiting for the right moment to bring him back, with plans for his return already lined up and ready to go.
A source noted that at one point Seth Rollins was set to be part of the Money in the Bank premium live event next month. However, it appears that those plans have shifted. According to a source Seth’s return to television shouldn’t be that far off.
On a somewhat related note, it’s also being reported that there is similar uncertainty regarding CM Punk’s status for Money in the Bank. At one point WWE had discussed CM Punk working the show, but that’s no longer a sure thing.
