Roman Reigns defeated CM Punk to win the World Heavyweight Championship in the night 2 main event of WrestleMania 42, and The Tribal Chief indicated on the post-show that he was going back to a full-time schedule when he said he’d be around all summer. Originally Roman Reigns was being advertised for several episodes of Raw in the month of June, but he was recently pulled from the advertising for those shows.

Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Roman Reigns was pulled from the Monday Night Raw dates in June because he’s not going to be on the Night of Champions premium live event in Saudi Arabia.

“Regarding Roman Reigns being pulled from June TV dates that were announced, the reason we were told is that he’s not going to be on the Saudi Arabia PPV and thus there was no reason to do the TV’s building that show.

If he loses the title next week, of course that would be a change and there will be more to the story. If he retains, that’s probably all it is. But Reigns is no longer scheduled for any television in June.”

Roman Reigns is currently set to defend his World Heavyweight Championship against Jacob Fatu at the Backlash premium live event on Saturday, and it’s been confirmed that he and Fatu will be signing the contract for the match tonight on Raw.

Stay tuned for updates.
