Business has picked up in a major way over the last few weeks and the stars of NXT stepped into the spotlight on Tuesday night at Roadblock. The show featured several big matches and NXT Women’s Champion Giulia faced off against NXT Women’s Champion Stephanie Vaquer in a Winner Takes All match in the main event.
The main event was action packed, but ultimately it was Stephanie Vaquer who walked out with both belts after she put Giulia down for the three count with the SVB.
Bryan Alvarez recently shared an update on Giulia’s status on Wrestling Observer Live, and he noted that Giulia is dealing with a minor visa issue as well as an undisclosed injury.
“So Giulia there are two things going on. There is some minor, I was told visa issue. There’s also an injury, which is listed internally as undisclosed.”
Giulia officially signed with WWE in 2024 and she made her in-ring debut with the company in September of that same year. It didn’t take long for Giulia to become the top star in the NXT women’s division as she defeated Roxanne Perez to become the new NXT Women’s Champion at New Year’s Evil back in January.
Stay tuned for more updates on Giulia’s status as they become available.
