Randy Orton has been in the professional wrestling business for decades now and throughout the course of his career he’s faced some of the biggest names in the industry. The Viper has had some legendary feuds, but some would argue that John Cena has been his greatest rival.

At WrestleMania 24, Randy Orton and John Cena faced off against Triple H in a triple threat match, but Orton and Cena have yet to clash in a singles match on the Grandest Stage of Them All.

During a recent appearance on The Bump, Randy Orton talked about a potential title match with John Cena at WrestleMania while explaining why it’s his dream match.

“A dream match for me would be to somehow find myself in a situation where I’m fighting Cena at WrestleMania for the title. I don’t know how you get there, I’m not saying it’s gonna happen. But I have never wrestled John at WrestleMania in a singles match. We had some wars back in the day, so being able to revisit that after all this, I think it’s not only something that I would want, I think the fans would eat it up too.”

There’s currently no word on when John Cena could return to WWE as he last appeared on WWE programming back in November of 2023 when he was defeated by Solo Sikoa at Crown Jewel.
