For decades now Randy Orton has been one of the top stars in WWE, and The Viper stepped up on the road to WrestleMania 42 when he won the men’s Elimination Chamber match to secure a shot at Cody Rhodes’ Undisputed WWE Championship.
Unfortunately for Randy, it was Cody who picked up the win, but it was reported following WrestleMania 42 that original plans called for Orton to win the title. Orton has not appeared on WWE programming since night one of WrestleMania 42, and it was recently reported that The Viper has been off due to a back injury. However, Randy Orton recently took to social media to shoot those rumors down.
Randy Orton responded to the rumors about his WWE absence when he quote tweet a post about why he’s been off TV with the following response: “Lmao just milking it guys, leave me alone I’m trying to enjoy my summer before I come back and take that #15”

Regardless of Orton’s current status there is no word regarding when he could potentially return to WWE. As of right now Cody Rhodes is scheduled to defend the Undisputed WWE Championship against Gunther at Clash in Italy later this month.
