The Fight Nerd recently interviewed MMA fighter Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, who is still on the TNA roster page at ImpactWrestling.com. During the interview, Rampage said that he was done with TNA. He said that when he saw their operations and how “they ran things,” he had no plans to go back.
Rampage noted that there was a lot of momentum with him when he joined the company and that the plan was for him to wrestle Kurt Angle, but they dropped the ball and “lost all momentum.” He said that fans will not see him in TNA ever again.
As for Spike TV possibly dropping TNA, Rampage noted that he saw the writing on the wall. He said that Dixie Carter and John Gaburick kept calling him to come back to do something, but he didn’t buy into it. He did say that the company had “a lot of cool people,” and mentioned Bully Ray and Chavo Guerrero and said that he wishes the best for them and that they find another good place to work.
Rampage added that he’s still interested in pro wrestling, and that Chavo has been teaching him some things in the ring.
