Vince McMahon returned to WWE in January and he’s been pretty open about the fact that he’s looking to sell the company. There have been several parties that are rumored to be interested in buying WWE and UFC’s parent company Endeavor is a name that keeps coming up.

Endeavor CEO Ari Emmanuel recently commented on a potential sale during a 2022 earnings call, and he indicated that Endeavor is not looking to make a purchase at this current time.

“As it relates to WWE, it’s an unbelievable product. Vince is an unbelievable…he’s created a great business. We’ve had a long standing relationship with them over two decades. We’re doing, as I indicated, the On Location business with them, The Endeavor Streaming with them. You know, his business is really valuable, but we’re not going to do anything as it relates to changing our leverage position right now.”

PWInsider is reporting that Jason Lublin, the company’s Chief Financial Officer noted during the call that they have over $750 million in cash and they are committed to deleveraging and doing everything they can to increase shareholder value.

It was recently reported that Vince McMahon is looking to sell WWE for $9 billion, so it doesn’t seem that Endeavor is looking to make a purchase at this time. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
