Possible Spoilers: Which NXT Stars Are Coming To The WWE Main Roster?

When Vince McMahon shows up on TV it’s always for a big reason. He’s either giving his daughter an award, firing someone, or making a huge announcement. On the Raw after WrestleMania 33, he was there to make a couple big announcements.

One of the topics concerned Raw’s new General Manager being Kurt Angle, and that was huge. But, it was the announcement of WWE’s impending roster shake-up that really got our minds working. It’s been previously reported AJ Styles is a top priority and most likely headed to Raw. Let’s just get this out of the way right here: if Shinsuke Nakamura ends up on SmackDown and AJ Styles gets moved to Raw thus creating more separation between the stars of Wrestle Kingdom 10’s match of the night it will be supremely frustrating. However, that appears to be the case right. So, prepare to be frustrated. We’re not saying Nakamura and Styles won’t ever collide in a WWE ring, but if they keep them apart they could always save it for a Survivor Series or WrestleMania encounter.

The Revival already made their main roster debuts on Raw, and that was exciting to say the least. But, new reports are saying this could only be the first of several planned debuts from NXT. CageSideSeats is reporting we can expect a couple more NXT call-ups by the time the dust has settled on this one.

Along with Shinsuke Nakamura, Tye Dillinger and Andrade “Cien” Almas are reportedly on the top of the list to make a main roster jump.

It’s interesting to note that although he was highly-expected to be joining the main roster, Elias Samson’s name hasn’t been included in the names joining Raw or SmackDown during this wave of NXT call-ups. That doesn’t mean The Drifter won’t be coming up, but according to reports it’s not in the plans right now. Samson was expected to make a jump because he lost a Loser Leaves NXT match to Kassius Ohno a few weeks ago. But they’ll probably have to figure out something else for Elias Samson if he has to wait any longer in developmental.
