Now that Elimination Chamber has come and gone all eyes are looking ahead to WrestleMania and this week an interesting segment took place involving the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles. Becky Lynch & Lita interrupted Damage CTRL while Bayley was hosting Ding Dong Hello and they challenged Dakota Kai & Iyo Sky to a title match.
Becky Lynch noted that she and Lita want to walk into WrestleMania as the champions and Bayley accepted the match on behalf of Kai & Sky. The WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles are currently set to be defended on Raw next week.
Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Ronda Rousey & Shayna Baszler are still expected to get a shot at the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles at WrestleMania. It was also noted that the plan is for Ronda & Shayna to win the tag titles on the Grandest Stage of Them All.
At this point it’s not clear which team Ronda Rousey & Shayna Baszler could be facing at WrestleMania, but the current card for the event can be seen below.
