Roman Reigns and The Bloodline fought against The Brawling Brutes, Drew McIntyre & Kevin Owens in a WarGames match on Saturday night, and it was The Bloodline who picked up the victory.
The Tribal Chief didn’t defend his title at Survivor Series this year, but it sounds like fans can expect to see Reigns defended the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at the Royal Rumble in January.
WrestlingNews.co is reporting that the current plan is for Roman Reigns to defend the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Kevin Owens at the Royal Rumble. It was noted that Sheamus was penciled in for the title match at one point, but ultimately WWE decided to go with Owens vs. Reigns.
There was also reportedly talk of Sami Zayn facing Roman Reigns at the Royal Rumble, but a potential Zayn vs. Reigns match is rumored for Elimination Chamber. According to the report current plans call for Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens to challenge The Usos for the tag team titles at WrestleMania. Stay tuned for updates.
