It’s been a wild year for WWE as Vince McMahon officially announced his retirement back in July and since then Triple H has been in charge of WWE creative with Stephanie McMahon and Nick Khan serving as Co-CEO of the company.

Fightful Select reports that under the new WWE regime backstage morale has improved significantly. Over the last few months members of the WWE locker room who were willing to speak on the matter indicated that the culture has changed.

It’s being said that going to work is fun and easy going compared to the Vince McMahon era with one person saying that there is no longer a perpetual fear of getting fired for things that you can’t control. Another person noted that even though some wrestlers still aren’t being used it’s a vast improvement compared to how it was. Wrestlers also have more creative input and room for improvisation now.

Numerous talent looked back on the 2022 Royal Rumble as a low point for WWE and some people lost faith in Vince McMahon as a creative force around that time. One person noted that they thought they would always maintain faith in Vince McMahon, but that wasn’t the case following the show. Despite there being some hiccups there’s still said to be optimism when it comes to Triple H taking over creative.
