This week’s episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown is set to take place from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT and it looks like fans could be seeing a big return. PWInsider is reporting that they’ve heard from several people that Ronda Rousey has been spotted in Connecticut ahead of the show.
Fight Fans is also reporting that Ronda Rousey is set to make her return during tonight’s show. It’s not clear what she’ll be doing on the show, but the working plan for Rousey during WrestleMania season is to team up with Shayna Baszler and challenge for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles at WrestleMania 39.
Ahead of the show WWE has confirmed that Braun Strowman & Ricochet are currently set to challenge The Usos for the SmackDown Tag Team Titles. Rey Mysterio, Madcap Moss, Karrion Kross and Santos Escobar are also set to battle in a fatal four way match to determine the next challenger for Gunther’s Intercontinental Championship.
