WWE SmackDown Live is set to be another entertaining show this week as Alexa Bliss will be defending her SmackDown Women’s Championship against Becky Lynch in a steel cage, and it looks like we could be seeing a return.
PWInsider is reporting that former WWE Women’s Champion Mickie James is set to be backstage at SmackDown this week, and she’s expected to make her return to television.
Mickie James made her return when she faced Asuka for the NXT Women’s Championship at NXT TakeOver: Toronto, but Mickie was unsuccessful in her attempt to capture the belt. Following the event Triple H said that Mickie’s future with the company was up to her.
It was later reported in December that Mickie James had signed a multi-year deal with the company and that she would be joining the SmackDown brand.
Recently the La Luchadora character has been terrorizing Becky Lynch on SmackDown week after week, and there are many fan theories out there regarding who is under the mask. Deonna Purrazzo has been working under the mask over the past few weeks, but that doesn’t mean she will be revealed as La Luchadora when it’s all said and done.
Many fans out there believe that Mickie James will be revealed to be La Luchadora, and it looks like we could find out tonight.
