For months now there’s been a lot of talk about Brock Lesnar’s opponent for WrestleMania and it was reported that a few different names were pitched for Brock including Bray Wyatt. The Beast reportedly nixed the idea of facing Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania it’s been confirmed that Lesnar will be going one on one with Omos on the Grandest Stage of Them All.
Dutch Mantell recently talked about a potential Bray Wyatt vs. Brock Lesnar match on Story Time with Dutch Mantell, and he speculated that Brock may have turned the match down because a feud with Bray wouldn’t play to his strengths.
“Now we know why Brock rejected the match with Bray Wyatt because he says, ‘Now you’re gonna make me a cartoon figure,’ and that’s basically what they would do, even though I don’t know how they would do that, but it really doesn’t play to Brock’s strengths. It actually lowers him to Bray’s level, and that’s where he doesn’t wanna go. I don’t think Bray’s over like he thinks he is.”
It seemed that WWE was building up a Bray Wyatt vs. Bobby Lashley match for WrestleMania, but that match seems to be in doubt because Bray Wyatt has been sidelined due to an illness. Wyatt was recently spotted in public during his absence from WWE and you can get more than here.
