WWE No Mercy is set to take place on Sunday, October 9th and so far two matches have been confirmed for the event.
It was announced on SmackDown this week that AJ Styles will defend the WWE World Championship against John Cena and Dean Ambrose in a triple threat. WWE has also confirmed that Alexa Bliss will challenge Becky Lynch for the SmackDown Women’s Championship at No Mercy.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that it appears Rhyno and Heath Slater will be defending their SmackDown Tag Team Titles against The Usos at the event. The idea is for The Usos to win the titles at some point, and move on to feud with American Alpha.
Original plans for the Intercontinental Championship had The Miz defending against Dolph Ziggler in a steel cage match, but that could change. The steel cage stipulation is meant to keep Maryse from interfering in the match.
