WrestleMania is just weeks away, but the card is still falling into place, and fans should have a much better idea of what they can expect to see at the Show of Shows in the coming weeks.
The stars of Raw will battle at Elimination Chamber on Sunday, so plans for the red brand should be coming together shortly, and the path for the blue brand will likely become more clear after Fastlane on March 11th.
For months now Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn have been top heels on SmackDown Live, and they’ve been feuding with Shane McMahon. Zayn and Owens will both have a chance to become WWE Champion at Fastlane, but it sounds like we may see their friendship fall apart before our very eyes once again.
Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE seems to be teasing another split between the two stars and he speculated that it will lead to a WrestleMania match.
However, fans shouldn’t expect to see the duo split up before Fastlane.
Some may feel that Sami Zayn vs. Kevin Owens has been done to death in WWE, and it has, but it’s hard to deny that they always deliver when they face each other.
WWE could also shift the dynamic this time around and have Sami betray Kevin which could make for some interesting scenarios.
