We’re currently on the road to WrestleMania, and when it comes to the women’s division the spotlight has definitely been on Becky Lynch, Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair.
Asuka has been SmackDown Women’s Champion since she won the belt at the TLC pay-per-view, but unfortunately she’s gotten lost in the shuffle since then and hasn’t been featured on TV regularly.
Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that Lacey Evans is being considered for Asuka’s opponent at WrestleMania 35.
The match was said to have been on the books at one point, but it’s not one hundred percent, as the match is being reconsidered.
