Tonight the stars of NXT 2.0 will step into the spotlight when NXT Halloween Havoc airs live on USA Network. The show will feature four title matches, and NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa will be defending the NXT Championship against newcomer Bron Breakker.
Bron Breakker has been one of the stars at the forefront of NXT 2.0 ever since the brand was relaunched, and WrestleVotes is reporting that “tonight’s Halloween Havoc looks to be the launching of the Bron Breakker era in NXT.”
It’s also being reported that Tommaso Ciampa’s run with NXT could be winding down as the youth movement in NXT 2.0 continues. Whether or not Bron Breakker is going to defeat Ciampa and win the NXT Title tonight remains to be seen, but it certainly seems that WWE officials are looking to position Breakker as the top star on the brand right now.
