The annual SummerSlam premium live event aired a few weeks ago and now that it has come and gone all eyes are looking ahead to WWE Clash at the Castle next month, but it sounds like WWE is already making plans for SummerSlam in 2023.

SummerSlam took place from Nashville this year and WrestleVotes is reporting that WWE was thrilled with how things turned out with the host city for the event. It’s also being reported that Nashville is on the short list to host the show next year and a decision is expected to be made in early 2023.

Roman Reigns defended his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam last month in a Last Man Standing match that featured a much talked about spot which saw Lesnar use a tractor to lift up the ring. The Tribal Chief walked out with the gold and he will now go on to defend his title against Drew McIntyre at Clash at the Castle on September 3. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
