WWE looks like they’re going to be freshening up one roster in a big way as they will introduce new Tag Team Titles for the Cruiserweight Division soon enough.
We previously reported that WWE was looking to add a couple titles to 205 Live and now a preliminary design appears to exist and you can check it out below.
It’s easy to imagine that there could be way more color to the titles when they officially debut but it’s a pretty cool sketch, to say the least. It also looks like they’ll stick with side plates that don’t switch out for 205 Live once again which has worked in the past for the show.
It’s been a very long time since the Cruiserweight Tag Team Titles existed as Billy Kidman and Rey Mysterio was the last to hold them as The Filthy Animals before WWE bought WCW and the championships were abandoned.
So there could be another cool tournament in store for 205 Live sometime soon enough to determine new champions. After all, Triple H loves tournaments. Let’s just hope we can see a bracket soon enough this time.
Beth Copeland, better known as Beth Pheonix to the WWE Universe is a WWE Hall Of Famer for a reason. The Glamazon played a huge role in establishing the groundwork in which the current WWE roster enjoys to this day. She’s seen a lot in her time associated with pro wrestling and has an excellent viewpoint for sports entertainment as well. This is why she’s such a cool addition to WWE Mixed Match Challenge’s announce team.
One thing Pheonix sees is a lot of talent in 205 Live. Those guys work very hard and it is unfortunately during a portion of the night when there might not be too many people sticking around either.
But the WWE Hall Of Famer is still a fan and she recently tweeted some high praise for the 205 Live guys. Let’s hope accolades from the 4-time WWE Women’s Champion will bring some much-needed attention to the 205 Live product because as Triple H maintains control of the ship it looks to be going in a very good direction.
