This week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown was the first post-WrestleMania show for the blue brand, and it featured a big announcement from Triple H. The Game made his way down to the ring in the middle of the show to thank fans for making WrestleMania a huge success and he also confirmed that the next WWE Draft will take place in a few weeks.
Triple H announced that every single Superstar is eligible to be drafted while teasing that this upcoming draft will truly change the game for WWE. However, he did not confirm a date for the draft.
According to the WRKD Wrestling account current plans call for the WWE Draft to take place on Raw from Jacksonville, FL on May 8th at the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena.

As of this writing WWE has not officially announced that date for the draft, and it’s not clear if it will be just a one night event, or if there are plans for the draft to kick off on Raw then continue on SmackDown later in the week.
Stay tuned for more updates on the next WWE Draft as they become available.
