Bray Wyatt called out the winner of Brock Lesnar vs. Bobby Lashley at Elimination Chamber, and it was Lashley who won the match by disqualification after Lesnar hit him with a low blow.
In the weeks that followed WWE started building up a Bray Wyatt vs. Bobby Lashley match for WrestleMania, but recently Bray Wyatt’s status for WrestleMania seems to be in doubt as it’s been reported that he’s sidelined due to a physical issue.
WrestleVotes recently told GiveMeSport that there is a backup plan for Bobby Lashley as he’s expected to be part of the card next weekend. WWE has not confirmed that Bray vs. Bobby won’t be happening, but the fact that the match isn’t officially on the card with WrestleMania a little over a week away isn’t seen as a good sign.
It’s being reported that Bobby Lashley could end up working with LA Knight in some form, but it’s not clear if that means Knight and Lashley would work an actual match or be involved in some type of segment.
“I heard the plans for Bobby had something to do with La Knight. I think there’s a tie-in with some type of segment that LA Knight is going to be involved in.”
It was also noted that as of right now a match with LA Knight is not planned for Lashley, but has been discussed for over a week. Stay tuned for more updates on Bobby Lashley’s WrestleMania status as they become available.
Adding: WWE will find a way to get Lashley on the card. A match vs. LA Knight isn’t planned as of now, but has been discussed for over a week now. https://t.co/U507ZepcQG
