There are several names who tried to step into the spotlight during WrestleMania season, but Shinsuke Nakamura was noticeably absent from WWE programming for months. Shinsuke made his return to WWE this week on Friday Night SmackDown, and he picked up a big win over Madcap Moss in his first match back. It was also teased that Shinsuke will be feuding with Karrion Kross in the weeks to come.
Earlier this year Shinsuke Nakamura made his way to Japan to face The Great Muta, and he talked a little bit about the match in a WWE Digital Exclusive when he said, “I’m glad to be back. I’ve been to Japan, so I had a great victory against Great Muta. That was a historic [match]. Then I recharged, I rebooted.”
As far as what the future holds for Shinsuke Nakamura he tased that he wants to go after championship gold when he added, “I need some meat. I need a great opponent. Also, I aim for [the] world title.”
It’s been some time since Shinsuke Nakamura has been involved in the world title picture, so we’ll just have to wait and see if he ends up getting a title shot at some point. Stay tuned for updates.
