WrestleMania Weekend is officially underway, and the celebration kicked off on Friday night with the Hall of Fame induction ceremony.
This year’s ceremony featured some great speeches from the likes of The Dudley Boyz, Mark Henry, Jeff Jarrett and others, but there’s no denying that it was a long show.
Goldberg was the headliner for this year’s class, and it was past midnight by the time he got deep into his speech. Apparently quite a few members of the WWE roster decided to cut out early as there were many empty seats during the former WCW World Heavyweight Champion’s speech.
Fans who were in attendance shared photos on social media, and you can see that the crowd definitely thinned out.

As much as I loved the hall of fame, even the wrestlers in attendance were in agreement that it went on too long. Found myself itching for Goldberg to wrap up so i could head home. Here's the wrestlers at the half way point and the final speech #WWEHOF pic.twitter.com/Kemo5p3WbE

To be fair, WrestleMania Week is a very busy time for the WWE roster, and it’s likely that many of the people who left before or during the speech had to be up early to do media appearances.
