ronda rousey

It’s been two years since Ronda Rousey shocked the WWE Universe by stepping into a WWE ring alongside The Rock to confront both Stephanie McMahon and Triple H at WrestleMania 31.

Ronda was undefeated in UFC at that point and was considered to be the best female fighter in the world, rumors then began to surface after Ronda put her hands on Stephanie McMahon that WWE officials were planning a match to finish what had been teased.

The rumors then cooled off and Ronda has since lost her title and been defeated by Amanda Nunes as she now sits in an unfamiliar position with a 12-2 MMA and 6-2 UFC record.

Despite the fact that many of the WWE Universe believe that Ronda’s time to join WWE has now passed, the advocate for The Beast Incarnate Brock Lesnar still thinks that Ronda would be a “natural fit” for WWE.

“I think the WWE audience would embrace Ronda Rousey with open arms,” Heyman said. “Just her name recognition alone is huge. It doesn’t matter, her past two experiences in the UFC. All that matters is if she got involved in a story that people could relate to and sink their teeth into and get excited about.”

He continued: “I think Ronda Rousey doing anything in WWE is a natural fit, I’d love to see it and would be happy to discuss with her all the benefits that she could endure by being a Paul Heyman girl.”

Could Paul Heyman be teasing an incredible pairing in WWE for the coming months? Or has the ship sailed on Ronda being able to maker her switch to the WWE? If the WWE Universe have learnt anything over the past few decades, it’s never say never when it comes to WWE. But for right now, Heyman needs to switch his focus to the task at hand as he leads his beast out against Goldberg on Sunday night at WrestleMania.
