Paul Heyman was recently named Executive Director of WWE Monday Night Raw, and his influence was noticeable on this week’s episode.
The episode was main evented by a US Title match which saw Ricochet successfully defend the belt against AJ Styles.
Ricochet main evented Raw two weeks, and it was recently reported that Paul Heyman is high on the current US Champion.
It looks like Ricochet isn’t the only current WWE Superstar who has the support of Paul Heyman, as the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Heyman is known to be a strong advocate of Aleister Black and Lacey Evans as well.
Lacey Evans has been receiving quite the push over the last few months, and she’s currently set to team with Baron Corbin to challenge Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins in a Winners Take All match at Extreme Rules on July 14.
