Over the past few weeks WWE officials have made several changes to creative plans, and the Survivor Series card looks quite different compared to how it looked when the matches were first announced.
Brock Lesnar is now facing AJ Styles instead of Jinder Mahal, The Usos are facing Sheamus and Cesaro instead of Rollins and Ambrose, Triple H has been added to Team Raw, and following her big win on SmackDown Live Charlotte is facing Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss.
It seemed that Charlotte’s victory meant that Natalya would end up taking her place on Team SmackDown at Survivor Series, but apparently that’s not the case.
WWE.com posted an article teasing that the fifth member of the team will be revealed on Sunday, so we have a few days to guess who it might be.
“But, after Charlotte Flair overcame Natalya to capture the SmackDown Women’s Championship on Tuesday night and will now instead face Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss, who is going to take The Queen’s place on Team SmackDown?”
Most WWE fans are probably well aware by now that Paige has been cleared to return to the ring, and she’s been back on the road with the rest of the roster. Paige was spotted backstage at Raw this week, and it was speculated that she could be returning to TV on Raw or SmackDown Live, but that didn’t happen.
With one spot open on the SmackDown Live Survivor Series and WWE keeping the identity of the final competitor a mystery, it seems that this creates a perfect opportunity for Paige to make her return to the ring.
Will Paige be revealed as the final member of Team SmackDown? We’ll find out on Sunday.
