Paige has been out of action for over a year, but she recently confirmed that she’s been training at the WWE Performance Center. It seems that Paige is getting close to a return to the ring, but don’t look for her husband to be, Alberto Del Rio, to return to WWE. TMZ recently asked the former WWE Champion if he has any interest in returning, and he responded with the following: “I left that place, and I don’t have any interest in going back.”
Alberto was then asked about Paige’s status, and he said that she will be returning very soon.
“She’s getting ready, she’s in Orlando at the moment. She’s been there for the last 6 or 7 weeks. It’s going to happen pretty soon. I can not give you any more details because I will get her in trouble. They told her to lay low and not talk too much about it. She’s days, weeks, probably days away from going back to WWE and doing something in the ring.”
As far as their wedding goes, Alberto admitted that they still haven’t set a date because they’re both so busy.
“Well that’s a good question. Like I just mentioned she’s going back to WWE, she’s going to be doing a lot of stuff in the ring. The movie, they’re about to release the movie with Dwayne, The Rock, about her family. I’m pretty busy here with Combates and all the other commitments that I have around the world. So, maybe next year. That’s something that we need to discuss.”
