This week’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw took place from the FedEx Forum in Memphis, TN and the show kicked off with WWE Champion Big E facing off against Kevin Owens in a steel cage match.
Big E managed to pick up the win in the non-title match, and after the bout was over Seth Rollins attacked Big E then turned his attention to Kevin Owens. As Seth Rollins went for a stomp on Kevin Owens he was hit with a belly to belly from Big E, and Big E hit Owens with the Big Ending before celebrating with his WWE Title. Bobby Lashley then returned during the commercial break and attacked Big E.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful noted on Twitter that Big E vs. Kevin Owens was originally set to main event Monday Night Raw this week, and that Seth Rollins was going to kick off the show with a promo.
As of 4 PM EST, Owens vs. Big E was listed as the main event, with Rollins kicking off the show an an in-ring promo for WWE Raw. Even late rundowns had that, so I'd imagine Becky vs. Liv is main eventing now.
Plans change, pal

Becky Lynch and Liv Morgan went on to compete in the main event, and Lynch put the Raw Women’s Championship on the line. In the end it was Becky Lynch who retained the gold when she rolled Liv Morgan up and grabbed the ropes for extra leverage to score the winning pin.
