It seems that two WWE talents are dealing with some legal issues right now as POST Wrestling is reporting that Keanu Carver, real name Kevin Robertson is currently under an order of protection which orders him to stay away from another NXT talent, and not contact the NXT talent who filed the order against him. POST Wrestling has chosen not to identify the NXT talent who filed the petition unless that person decides to be named publicly.
The petition was filed in a Florida court on September 14 and alleges that Robertson stalked and harassed the person who filed it. The petition also alleges that the petitioner was in a relationship with Kevin Robertson that recently ended. Robertson then allegedly made a series of unwanted visits to the petitioner’s home and made unwanted phone calls to the petitioner, with as many as 44 calls being made in one day.
The filing includes many screenshots which show Robertson’s unwanted phone calls, as well as still images from security footage which show Robertson’s alleged unwanted visits to the petitioner’s residence.
The protection order is a civil matter, and it’s not known at this point in time if charges will be filed. An official with the local police department confirmed the case is still pending with the State Attorney’s Office, and the State Attorney’s Office noted that since the case is still being investigated they can not confirm if charges will be filed.
The petition seeking an order of protection against Kevin Robertson was filed on September 14 and granted by a judge the same day. During a hearing on September 22 the court extended the order of protection through the next hearing on October 20. According to court records, Robertson asked for a continuance so he could obtain counsel. Per the protection order Robertson is to stay 500 feet away from the petitioner and is prohibited from having any contact with them.
The petition alleges that the petitioner called the police on September 13 after Robertson allegedly went to the petitioner’s residence, refused to leave, and threatened to harm himself. Robertson left before the police arrived, and the petitioner filed the order of protection the next day.
Robertson is also being accused of abusive behavior by the petitioner as the petitioner alleges that he “spat on me, physically restrained me from leaving his house.” It was also claimed that Robertson, “[H]e has threatened to kill me, as well as my cats, he has woken me up by plugging my nose in my sleep, he has grabbed me by my throat multiple times and squeezed hard while threatening to kill me.”
Kevin Robertson has since deactivated his Keanu Carver accounts on X and Instagram. WWE did not respond when asked if the protection order, which requires Robertson to stay 500 feet away from the petitioner, will prevent him from being at the WWE Performance Center.
