Omos has been one of the stars to watch in WWE, and he’s found major success since he aligned himself with AJ Styles. Currently Omos is one half of the Raw Tag Team Champions, and his size has proved to be a difference maker in his matches.
In the past fans have seen big men step over the top rope when they enter the ring, and during an appearance on Rasslin’ with Brandon Walker Omos shared a story about his pants ripping when he stepped over the top rope.
According to Omos he had to step over the top rope during a live rehearsal at the Performance Center prior to WrestleMania 35, and his first three attempts were successful, but his fourth was not.
“I did it one time and they’re like, ‘You’ve gotta do it again.’ I’m like, ‘Brother, my pants are gonna rip.’ ‘No, no, no, no.’ I did it again, I got comfortable, and then the fourth time I tried to go, it ripped, literally, and I’m just like, ‘What am I gonna do? I can’t go home. I don’t have another pair of pants. Let’s get on with the show.’ So the whole time doing the show I’m standing ringside and my whole backside is just exposed. They have ‘Taker, Batista, Hunter [Triple H] dying laughing.”
