Seth Rollins has been one of the top stars in WWE for years now and he’s faced off against some big names on the Grandest Stage of Them All. Rollins has picked up some impressive wins at WrestleMania and this year he’s set to face off against Logan Paul at WrestleMania 39.
Even though The Visionary is more than familiar with what it’s like to compete at WrestleMania there are many NXT stars who are still dreaming of making their own moment at the Showcase of the Immortals. During an appearance on the Under The Ring podcast, former NXT North American Champion Carmelo Hayes named Seth Rollins as a potential opponent when he was asked who he wants to face at WrestleMania 40.
“Seth Rollins. I feel like if there’s anybody I think I find as similar to me and my style that I would mesh with really well in the ring, it’d be Seth Rollins.”
At this point there’s no telling if Carmelo Hayes will be part of the main roster at this time next year, but he’s certainly climbing the ranks in NXT. Hayes will have his chance to win championship gold when he challenges Bron Breakker for the NXT Championship at NXT Stand & Deliver. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
