NXT has a lot to do. They just lost Shinsuke Nakamura to SmackDown so there’s a new top babyface to be crowned. Tye Dillinger and The Revival won’t be around much either because they got call-ups too. It will also be interesting who they don’t use at the television taping because that might indicate something happening during this WWE roster shake-up going on next week. Another interesting things is that cage they’ve got sitting on the side of the arena.

This new season of NXT will have a new intro and theme music opening the show. Therefore it truly is the beginning of a new era in NXT. Aleister Black defeated Corey Hollis to further establish his dominance. Tye Dillinger is backstage and says while he’s happy to be on SmackDown, he still has unfinished business with Eric Young. They set up a steel cage match on the next episode to settle their feud.
Team DIY won a match which probably means they’re going to be sticking around NXT for a little while longer. A lot of people thought they might be following The Revival to the main roster, but it looks like we’ll have to wait even longer to see them mix it up on the main roster.
Ruby Riot beat Kimberly Frankele but Nikki Cross found her way to ringside. After the match, Nikki cross just stared Ruby Riot down. Whenever these two actually go at it, it might be epic.
Andrade “Cien” Almas defeated Danny Burch which might mean Cien will be staying in NXT too. His name was one of the rumored names to be making a jump soon. Drew McIntrye defeated Oney Lorcan. Word is The Chosen One doesn’t have his original awesome theme music anymore. But, he’s still just as awesome.

“Thank you, Shinsuke” chants fill the Full Sail Arena as Nakamura takes a gracious demeanor. The entire NXT roster and staff fill the stage to give him a proper send-off and it was quite a showing. Finn Balor, Hideo Itami, and Triple H gave Nakamura a great hug on the stage.
