It’s WrestleMania Sunday, which means fans will be watching some of the biggest names in the business clash on the Grandest Stage of Them All.
However, one former champion who fans shouldn’t expect to see at WrestleMania 35 is Nikki Bella.
Nikki Bella recently spoke to US Weekly about why she’s “avoiding WrestleMania” and it appears that John Cena’s proposal at WrestleMania 33 is one of the biggest reasons why she’s staying away from the Show of Shows.
“I never thought the man of my dreams was gonna ask me to marry him and he did. So it’s still a bit sensitive for me.”
Nikki also opened up her status with Artem Chigvintsev on The Bellas Podcast and she cleared up the speculation.
“Yeah, we’re dating. There’s been a lot of speculation about us … but I’m still dating [other people] … We’re not engaged. We’re not married. We’re not boyfriend and girlfriend. We don’t say, ‘I love you.’ We make out. He’s a great kisser.”
