For anyone that doesn’t know, WWE released 11 talents today – Teddy Long, referee Marc Harris, Evan Bourne, JTG, Brodus Clay, Curt Hawkins, Aksana, Yoshi Tatsu, Camacho, Jinder Mahal and Drew McIntyre.

PWInsider is reporting the following reasons as to why some of these talents were released:

Yoshi Tatsu was released because company officials felt he was regressing in the ring.

Brodus Clay fell out of favor with WWE creative.

Teddy Long’s contract expired and it was well known within WWE that he would be leaving the company soon.

Camacho and Hawkins were said to have come as a surprise. Camacho is popular with everyone working in NXT and Hawkins apparently still had many years left on his contract.
