Word coming out of WWE is that they booked Brock Lesnar to destroy Cena at SummerSlam to separate Lesnar from the pack. They wanted Lesnar to come out of SummerSlam looking like an unstoppable beast.
They also wanted to get Cena over for not giving up during the brutal beating he took.
WWE filmed some segments with Lesnar backstage at the Raw in Las Vegas. Obviously, Lesnar won’t be booked on every RAW until Night of Champions and this is a way to keep Lesnar on TV in a way.
