When WWE moved into town for WrestleMania the host city usually does their job to make the WWE Universe feel right at home. New Orleans did the job a few years ago so they’re already on the ball to make sure the entire city has WrestleMania’s electricity pulsing through it.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year if you’re a pro wrestling fan because WrestleMania is right around the corner. It’s getting to close that the Mercedes Benz Superdome is already beginning to take shape to host the Grandest Stage Of Them All.

In turn, the host city is also starting to decorate for Mania as well. New Orleans is usually a place full of a lot of celebration so they know how to do it up right. You can probably expect them to roll out a huge production for WWE Superstars but these early signs are certainly excellent.

When NOLA hosted WrestleMania XXX, WWE Superstars were greeted with jazz bands and plenty of parties on Bourbon Street. The airport was done up to seem like WrestleMania stretched throughout the famous city and plenty of people reported back that everyone was incredibly welcoming as well.

This year is likely to be no different because they’re putting up some of the initial signage for the Show Of Shows and those posters are looking nice.

It’s interesting to note that even if/when The Undertaker comes back that he’s not on any of this promotional material. But with people like Ronda Rousey, Brock Lesnar, and a slew of other top Superstars featured it’s already a very stacked show this year.

It’s great that WWE is receiving such a warm welcoming from New Orleans because this destination event is probably going to pump a lot of money into the Big Easy in the next couple of weeks.
