A few weeks ago Dean Ambrose defeated Seth Rollins to become the new Intercontinental Champion at TLC, and he also recently defended the title against Tyler Breeze in an open challenge on Raw.
Now it looks like Dean Ambrose has another challenger who will be coming after his title, as Apollo Crews earned an Intercontinental Title shot during the WWE live event at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday.
Crews won a 10 man battle royal during the live event to earn the title shot.
The battle royal also included Titus O’Neil, Jinder Mahal, Konnor, Viktor, Zack Ryder, Curt Hawkins, Rhyno, Heath Slater and No Way Jose.
At this point it’s not clear when Apollo Crews will be challenging Dean Ambrose for the belt.
