MVP has been deemed medically unfit to compete at Sundays Slammiversary pay-per-view.

TNA announced that the winners of the Bobby Lashley vs. Samoa Joe and Austin Aries vs. Kenny King bouts at Sunday’s pay-per-view will then be added to the main event and face TNA World Champion Eric Young in a three way steel cage match for the title.

Lashley praised the change on his Twitter, noting that it was the “perfect plan.” King commented on possibly being inserted in the new main event on his Twitter, writing, “I get to to whip @AustinAries ass AND become world heavyweight champion in the same night? !? Or @fightbobby too? @The305MVP =genius.”

Aries tweeted, “Like I kneeded more incentive to beat the hell out of @KennyKingPb2. #Slammiversary #IAmTheMainEvent #CommonDenominatorOfGreatness”
