The Raw 25th Anniversary will be an exciting time as Superstars from the past and present pay homage to the stories which got them to that point. There are sure to be some big developments that will get plenty of people talking on the way to the Royal Rumble, this event is the go-home show to the big pay-per-view after all.
The big 25th Anniversary will air on January 22nd but now there are a few more details about the event which are rather interesting.
The Manhattan Center box office is saying the Manhattan Center part of the show is only expected to last between 7:30 and 9:00 pm meaning that two hours of the show will take place in the Barclays Center.
But it won’t be a huge bust for those in the Manhattan Center because some big names from WWE’s past could very well be stopping by their old venue. So fans in the Manhattan Center are sure to get a great show. There could always be some dark matches at either venue for people as the televised action takes place elsewhere.
Some of the big names announced for the show include The Undertaker, DX, Jim Ross, Jerry Lawler, The Dudley Boyz, Ric Flair, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, Bella Twins, New Age Outlaws, and The APA. Other names expected to be at the big event include Ted DiBiase, Eric Bischoff, Steve Austin, Mick Foley and Bret Hart.
Most of those names aren’t expected to be at the same venue. But if John Cena’s WrestleMania opponent is really going to be The Dead Man then something tells me they might close out the big show with a segment with The Undertaker.
However, you never know what WWE will do as they try to mount as much excitement as possible for the Royal Rumble pay-per-view event that next Sunday.
