A few months ago the TKO merger was completed and WWE followed up by releasing a number of office employees and talent. Fans were surprised to see the company cut ties with names like Dolph Ziggler, Shelton Benjamin, and Mustafa Ali, but it looks like some of the released talent could be returning to the world of wrestling sooner than later.

Many of the WWE talents that were let go in the last round of cuts have been waiting out a 90 day non-compete clause that is set to expire this week, and as of December 21 the following names will become free agents:

– Mustafa Ali

– Aliyah

– Shelton Benjamin

– Rick Boogs

– Dana Brooke

– Dabbo-Kato

– Elias

– Quincy Elliot

– Yulissa Leon

– Mace

– Mansoor

– Riddick Moss

– Matt Riddle

– Shanky

– Top Dolla

– Dolph Ziggler

It’s been rumored that AEW has interest in Dolph Ziggler, but whether or not the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion will end up signing with All Elite Wrestling remains to be seen. One way or another it seems that there’s a lot of opportunities for things to get shaken up in the weeks to come. Stay tuned for updates.
