Tiffany Stratton and Charlotte Flair are currently set to do battle at WrestleMania 41, and they met in the ring for a promo battle last week on SmackDown. Things quickly got heated between the two stars and it was later reported that both Stratton and Flair went off script.
Fightful Select is reporting that the general consensus backstage is Charlotte Flair went off script first when she called herself the “nepo queen.” It’s being said that the line didn’t garner much heat. However, when Charlotte started mocking Tiffany’s voice a number of people felt Stratton “needed to fight back,” but that getting personal without being cleared would be ill advised.
Tiffany Stratton’s line about Charlotte’s divorces and Charlotte’s line about Ludwig Kaiser were not cleared. Charlotte directly addressing the boos from the crowd was also not cleared, but was called “run of the mill ad libbing that would never get anyone any heat.”
The reaction backstage was general confusion when Charlotte Flair started emulating Tiffany Stratton. There was also an “oh s***” reaction when things started getting personal between the two stars.
The situation was referred to as a “wreck” and it’s being said that there was heat on both women. Regarding Ludwig Kaiser, many people at Raw got a laugh out of him playing it up and being a good sport about the situation.
