At AEW Full Gear, MJF challenged Jon Moxley for the AEW World Championship, and MJF ended up walking out with the gold after William Regal turned on Jon Moxley and handed MJF brass knuckles which allowed him to win the match.

This week William Regal appeared on Dynamite and he stood in the ring with a stand that was covered by a black sheet. He then introduced current AEW World Champion MJF.

MJF cut a promo and then said that when he looks at the AEW World Title it makes him want to throw up in his mouth. He said it’s tacky, it lacks class, and none of the men who held it before are on his level. MJF said the current version of the title is garbage and he dropped it over the ropes.

William Regal then pulled a sheet off of the new AEW World Championship belt which looked almost exactly like the old belt with a burberry strap. MJF called it the “Triple B” the “Big Burberry Belt” as the fans booed.

MJF then named several top AEW stars and talked trash about them. He said he’s going to use his “Triple B” belt in the bidding war of 2024 to make more money than any of the fans will ever make in their lives. He said he hopes the right Khan foots the bill then referenced Nick Khan and Triple H when he called them “Jolly Old St. Nick” and “The Game.”

Friendman followed up by saying that a wrestling company might not win the bidding war as he may leave wrestling for Hollywood in 2024. MJF said he will defend the title very rarely, and his reign of terror has just begun.

Before he left he started to praise William Regal and told the fans to give it up for him, but he then turned on Regal and attacked him from behind.
