The Miz has accomplished a lot throughout the course of his WWE career. He’s held championships, he’s main evented WrestleMania, and he’s also taken a few different stars under his wing.
Back in 2011, The Miz had Alex Riley by his side, and he later went on to form a popular tag team with Damien Sandow when Sandow became his stunt double.
Now The Miz has formed the Miztourage and he’s take on two prospects in the form of Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel. The current Intercontinental Champion recently spoke to TV Insider, and he said that he took Axel and Dallas under his wing because he knows the talent they possess.
“Let’s put it this way, it’s about time. Honestly, I still don’t feel I get the respect and the applause I deserve. I’m always striving to do my best and be my best. Right now, I’m more confidence than I have ever been. From a character standpoint, from everything standpoint. I legit wanted Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel by my side because I know the talent they possess. Just having them around, I try to elevate everything. Now I’m at a level where you have to step up to the plate if you want to hang against me. If you don’t, then I will swallow you whole.”
